Position: ● We deliver turn-key inspection stations to our customers, built from our platform and with integrating partners. ● We serve different quality control use cases for our customers, and we are always looking to deliver the optimal vision setup. It requires the ability to explore different approaches in terms of sensors and lighting. ● From innovative deflectometry to multi-camera systems, the goal is to deliver the best performance on the market. ● As a proactive member of our hardware team, your work will include a range of activities around industrial vision system
design: ● Analyse use case description and samples to define theoretical constraints ● Test and select lights, cameras, and lens configurations to solve quality control use cases ● Specify and test production-grade vision systems (sensors, lenses, filters, lights, ...) ● Compare different acquisition technologies (deflectometry, computational imaging, polarimetry, ...) ● Set up experiments and proof of concepts of such solutions at the Scortex lab to improve our acquisition product
Skills: ● Proven experience in optical and industrial vision system design ● Technical understanding of key concepts in optics, sensors and photonics ● Interest in industrial vision system trends (3D imaging, computational imaging, polarimetry) ● Comfortable using CAD software ● Basic knowledge of Linux operating system and shell instructions ● Ability to design mechanical elements is a plus ● Experience with a programming language (python) is a plus
